We are delighted to be enrolling students for our Miramar School, located at 24hr Fitness on Pines Boulevard just west of University Drive.
With a variety of levels from beginner thru advanced swimmers we are sure to have a program that is perfect for your little one.
Classes at this location are for children from 3 years old who are fully potty trained. Classes for the under 3’s are still available at British Swim School, Pembroke Pines, Sunrise and Wellington.
OVER 3
Minnow (introductory skills – Group, maximum 4 children) Children participate in this small group class concentrating on fun, safety and independence in the water. Watch as your little one and their instructor have fun together while learning basic water survival techniques.
Turtle 1 (Introductory skills – Group, maximum 4 children) Children focus in this small group on preparing for swim stroke classes by learning the basics of “ face-in” breathing, as well as being able to demonstrate basic “ Freestyle” and “Backstroke” propulsion techniques.
Turtle 2 (Swimming Skills – Group, maximum 6 children) Swimmers focus on the correct arm, leg and breathing coordination for three strokes: Freestyle, Breaststroke and Backstroke. Swimmers also get an introduction to the Butterfly. This class is constantly moving with children swimming in groups of twos and threes.
Shark 1 (Advanced Swimming Skills – Group, maximum 6 children) Swimmers refine their Freestyle, Breaststroke and Backstroke skills, focusing on breathing techniques. Swimmers also build stamina in all four strokes.
Shark 2 (Master Swimmers – Group, maximum 6 children) these pre-team swimmers are the superstars of our program!!! Swimmers areprepared for future swim team participation, with attention to drills, starts and turns, individual medleys and increasing speed and stamina in the water.
We teach lessons year round. Master Card and Visa automatic monthly payments are accepted for your convenience.
All Classes are 30 minutes unless otherwise stated.
